Alwin Hoffmann

Alwin Hoffmann studied computer science and information management at the University of Augsburg and the TU Munich from 2001 to 2008 and received his doctorate in software engineering for robotics from the University of Augsburg in 2015. Since 2012, he was department head at the Institute for Software & Systems Engineering. In 2021, he moved to XITASO, where he currently holds a senior research position and focuses on Industry 4.0, the Asset Administration Shell, and Twin Transformation.
